The Ten Imitative Song Lyrics is a group of imitated song lyrics written by Zhou Mi after the fall of the Song dynasty, which is included in the self-compiled song lyric anthology The Wonderful Song Lyrics. This group of imitated song lyrics successively imitated the Huajian School, Xin Qiji, Lu Zugao, Shi Dazu, Zhang Ji, Sun Weixin, Zhao Rugui, Wu Wenying, Guixi Eryin and Shi Yue, which preserved and outlined the four generations of poets in the Southern Song dynasty with the poets in eastern and western parts of Zhejiang as the core, through simulation strategies with similarities and differences, so that it effectively retained the song lyrics, morphology and individual life of the group of Zhou Mi's friends. In addition, Zhou Mi also integrated the historical facts of the Southern Song dynasty and his personal knowledge into this group of imitative song lyrics, which makes the group fully carry the thoughts of their by-gone country and show the sprout of the consciousness of “the Historic Significance of Ci”. The content of these texts is more abundant and detailed in The Wonderful Song Lyrics, which forms a strong intertextuality with The Ten Imitative Song Lyrics. Besides, the four-generation distribution of imitated objects in The Ten Imitative Song Lyrics also narrated and constructed a general idea of the poets in eastern and western parts of Zhejiang in the Southern Song dynasty, which became the origin of the construction of the Ci system of the West Zhejiang Ci School in the Qing dynasty.
