语素形位是语素作为系统要素的价值实现的机制,也即语素间相互区别的原理;是统摄语言和文字这两个符号系统的要素的形、音、义于一体的区别性单位;是与某一概念联系的音响形象或视觉形象的心理印记。索绪尔虽未提出语素形位概念,但其理论表述中蕴涵了这一概念的原理。语素形位原理已为神经语言学研究所证实,在语言学研究中所具有的认识论和方法论意义以及普通语言学理论意义。

Moneme of morpheme is the realization mechanism of the value of morpheme as an element of the system.It is also the principle of distinction between morphemes,and the distinctive unit governing the image and sound and concept of the element as a whole of language system and writing system.It is a psychological impression of vocal or visual image linked with a concept.Although Saussure did not refer to the term of moneme of morpheme,the principle of the concept is embodied in his theory.This paper tries a primary exploration about it,and prospects its epistemological and methodological meaning and theoretical meaning of general linguistics.
