明永乐七年天妃、南海神几乎同时受封,时正值郑和第二次下西洋,两者受封必定与郑和等出使海外有关。由于两者司辖地域不尽一样,历史发展脉络亦不尽相同,在郑和前两次下西洋中的作用不一,导致了其封号的不同。永乐两封号的出现与不同地域和阶层民众信仰不同有关,而天妃、南海神崇拜与郑和下西洋之间存在着一定联系。

The seventh year in Yong Le of the Ming Dynasty,Mazu and the God of Nanhai were conferred almost at the same time,when Zheng He happened to start the second voyage.There must be some relationship between them.Because their incidences,histories and effects in the first and the second Zheng He'voyage were different,the government conferred different titles on Mazu and the God of Nanhai.This article will analyse the relationship between the godliness of Mazu,the God of Nanhai and Zheng He'voyages,and find out why two titles were not consistent with the godliness of the common people.
