The constitutional regulations of constitutionalism are the regulations which arise from the constitutional theory with regards to restricting governmental power and protecting human rights. Those regulations contain specific patterns and systems. The constitutional regulations are an expression of meaning from the viewpoint of semantics, but from the viewpoint of theory of law they are the embodiment of the constitutional notion. Awarding power to the government and protecting human rights are the spirits of constitutional regulations, which determine the constitutional regulations' way of expression, structure and the scope of social relations they regulate. The patterns and systems of Chinese constitutional regulations differ from those of the constitutions of constitutionalism, which result not from the situation of our country but from the constitutional theory. This kind of constitutional theory reflects how the constitution-makers comprehend the constitution, and thus affecting the construction of the constitutional government.
