Hong Kong writer Xixi's generative literary style does not only receives the influence from Italo Calvino's novels,but also has surmounting Italo Calvino's novels.All in modern and post-modern linguistic environment,carry on the story montage causing the story unceasingly to multiply.However,there are three differences between Calvino's and Xixi's novel.The first is "continues without interruption" thematic progression and "recursiveness" thematic progression multiplication.The second is intertextual style of picture and words and intertextual;third is the reader participation on own initiative and with the passive participation difference.This article aim to probe into the imagination multiplication literary style as the post-modern novel development new trend.
