在阐述我国CPI体系的局限性以及核心CPI与货币政策有效性的基础上,通过实证分析得到以下结论:中央重点关注核心CPI,制定并公布核心CPI有利于增强货币政策的有效性,测度核心CPI应该成为一国货币政策的常规操作。但核心CPI并不能取代CPI,两者相辅相成。

Through expounding the limitations of our CPI system and the significance of monetary policy focus on core CPI in China.By Using the method of empirical measures our core CPI,testing the correlation of core CPI with the money supply and GDP.We have come to the conclusion that the central bank should focus on the core CPI,formulate and publish it .All of this will enhance the effectiveness of monetary policy and should become routine operation of monetary policy.
