On the Ci Poetry Club of Yue Tai of Lingnan in Qing Dynasty

Abstract

The Ci Club of Yue Tai was the most important phenomena in the history of Ci in Lingnan.It was established in February of the 23th year of Daoguang (1843),and it collected Ci-poencs for 5 times.The Ci association was composed of 9 Ci poets,such as Tanying,Chenli,Chen liang-yu,and Shen Shi-liang,etc.The Ci club of Yue Tai and the Ci club of Shan Tang were not the same one.The style of the works of the Ci association was Qingkong,and that members had same art interest.As well as,the Ci that reflected historical event were important and should be concerned about.The Ci association promoted the development of the Ci of Lingnan,and it displayed special role in the history of Ci in Lingnan.
