Abstract
Linking trade to labor is the requirement certain trend of international economic and social development.There exist misunderstandings of the purpose of the incorporation of international labor standards with WTO,its influence on comparative advantages,its possibility of misapplication and effect of negative counteraction in developing countries.As a comprehensive right and a specific developing process right,the right to development also cannot provide theoretical foundation for rejecting incorporation of labor standards with WTO.In the future negotiations,it is by suggesting constraint the way scope of labor rights introduced into WTO,constitute a safe harbor provision,apply differential standards,restrict punitive measures and strengthen the cooperation with ILO that the developing countries not only can effectively diminish the negative influence of the incorporation of labor standards on WTO,but also can improve their workers' condition.
