Reviewing the 20th century,the Comparative Literature Research between China and Japan has gone through two long periods:period of exploration and period of rapid growth,and a great achievement has been made in this field.Looking ahead,at the 21st century,the Comparative Literature Research between China and Japan will continue its flourishing development.The tasks we are faced with in the future is to enhance the self-cultivation of the fundamental theories in Comparative Literature,to reinforce the research on the relationship of literary communication between China and Japan,and to employ various effective methods on comparative literature research to explore the common subject of China,Japan,East Asia,and even the whole human beings.
