  An Analysis of Criminal Risk and Types of Crime in a New Era of Internet plus AI

  Driven by Internet, Big Data and Cloud Computing, the third wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI) development is in full momentum, and it pushes the traditional Internet and the Internet of thing to be further intelligent. The new era of Internet plus AI has profoundly changed people’s way of life and the social order and created new technical risks and criminal risks as well. Based on the fact that we are currently in and will long be in the weak AI development phase, AI is still a tool and a product. The instrumentalized of AI is the inevitable result of the evolution of criminal tools. This complicates some traditional forms of crime and increases the social harmfulness, and thus bringing about the evolution of comprehensive intelligence of crime. The designers and producers should perform the legal obligation to protect the safety of AI products. If the production does not meet the national standards and industry standards, and thereby causing serious consequences, the designers and producers may constitute a crime. The producers of AI should perform recall duty in order to avoid further harm and damage when they have known and should know the defective products in circulation cause people damage, otherwise the producers shall be liable to extended damage. The owners and users should strictly abide the safety operation specification and safety management standards. If they fail to fulfill their obligations, and thus causing serious consequences, those people are likely to bear criminal responsibility.

  The Abuse of Listed Companies’ Trading Halt in China: Characteristics, Causes and Governance

  As a regulatory mechanism for the securities market, suspension of trading has been repeatedly abused by listed companies in recent years. The notable consequence is the erosion of the trading order and the deprivation of trading rights of investors and the direct damage to the A-share Image and internationalization process. The root causes of the abuse of suspension are diversified and complex. They are characterized by the obsolescence of the suspension of positions, the low threshold, and the apparent lack of supervision. After comparing with the overseas trading halt system, it is not difficult to find that if the suspension of the normative A-shares is not limited to the literal level, we will effectively bring this experience to practice in the local territory and bring it into full play in the process of legal transplantation. It is thus necessary to establish the top level, attach great importance to the value orientation of the trading halt and maintenance of trading order, establish a unified and applicable trading halt regulation system, increase the investigation and punishment of illegal trading halt, and create a trading halt of public interest litigation.

  The Difficulties and System Perfection of Third Party Evaluation of the Scientific and Technological Achievements in China

  The third party evaluation of scientific and technological achievements is a comprehensive evaluation of scientific and technological achievements by independent social institutions in accordance with certain laws and regulations, technical norms and so on. It makes up for the defects of the past scientific and technological achievements appraisal models and it is the future development direction of science and technology evaluation. At present, the third party evaluation of scientific and technological achievements in China is in its infancy with the system construction to be improved, and it faces many difficulties, such as low status, unclear subject, procedures lacking in standard, unscientific methods, unclear responsibility and so on. The third party evaluation system of scientific and technological achievements should be constructed and enhanced from the following aspects: To issue laws and regulations, to clarify subject qualification, to formulate technical standards, to standardize evaluation procedures, to clarify legal responsibility, and to establish supervision system, etc. By so doing, the due value will largely be produced.

  Stickiness of SG&A Expenditure in Tax Exhaustion Status—A Study of Non-Debt Tax Shields Substitution
  Effect on Cost Adjustment

  Non-debt tax shields substitution in the tax exhaustion status has been verified. However, due to varied incentives, the substitution effect may result in conflicts with the SG&A expenditure stickiness effect. By theory inferences and regression analysis, Non-debt tax shields substitution effect aiming at tax saving effect dominated the expenditure stickiness effect driven by managerial discretions or agency issues: 1) To save taxes, the substitution effect promotes the matching between revenues and expenses; 2) When revenues and the direct cost increase dramatically, increases in indirect costs initiated by substitution are capped by tax exhaustion; and when revenues decrease dramatically, increases in indirect costs initiated by substitution effect offset the decreases in direct costs to spare tax shields. There is an exception that companies with greater future values of SG&A expenditures have maintained intensive inputs which offset stimuli of substitution effect on indirect costs. It is noted that this exception results from trade-off between future values which are proxies for long-term production utilities and short-term tax saving benefits. As for companies with intensive input on R&D resources, Non-debt tax shields substitution effect is also weak on cost behaviors.

  The Selection Mechanism and Transformation Path of Female Village Chiefs’ Voice Behavior and Silence Behavior: Based on the
  Taking-Root Theory of Guangdong Province

  Based on abundant qualitative data of female village chiefs in Guangdong province, the paper uses the taking-root theory to construct the conception model about voice behavior and silence behavior, and it analyzes the selection mechanism and transformation path between the voice behavior and the silence behavior. Study has found that the voice behavior is characterized by four-dimensional structure, and the silence behavior has a three-dimensional construct frame. The choice mechanism of the voice behavior and silence behavior is a complete psychological cognitive process. The former focuses more on the decision-making process, while the latter more on the psychological feelings. There is a dynamic interaction between the voice behavior and the silence behavior. The female village chiefs’ behavior selection mechanism and transformation path are the process of interaction among multi-stakeholders, female village chiefs as speakers, leaders as listeners, working partners and friends as onlookers, whose response and feedback will directly affect their behavior choices of female village chiefs. At the same time, it is the check and balance of multilateral powers on the mood cognitive process, female village chiefs will be affected by many factors to generate different psychological cognition and emotional responses, which will result in their making different decisions and undertaking different transformations.

  Sorrow is an important category in Chinese Aesthetics. Kim Teng is an important chapter of Shang Shu·Zhou Shu. It was written in the early Western Zhou Dynasty in which Zhou Gong was loyalty to the king and suppressed the rebellion, but he was suspected and eventually rehabilitated. The article is very tragic and involves some important aspects of Chinese ancient tragedies and has a great influence on the ancient Chinese tragedy Aesthetics. It is necessary to explore the profundity of Confucian Classics for the study of the form and category of ancient Chinese Aesthetics.

  This year marks the tenth anniversary of Wang Yuanhua’s passing away. The best way to honor him might be rereading his classic work The Explanation and Interpretation of Wenxin Diaolong. Wang used to describe his feelings towards the book as being “bittersweet” which to some extent summarizes the historical characteristics of this classic work born in special times. Whether with a basic understanding of Wenxin Diaolong, or with certain theoretical ideas, interpretation modes and research methods, this book stands the test of time on one side, and represents the fruit of the author’s independent thinking on the other side. It thus possesses an everlasting vitality with a sincere belief of the academic research and great dignity of original thought. It is not easy to study and evaluate Wang Yuanhua’s The Explanation and Interpretation of Wenxin Diaolong. We should learn from Wang’s “query spirit in academic research” and his “academic aspiration imbued with personality,” making honest explorations to improve the study of Wenxin Diaolong.

  A great number of Zhuzhi poems appeared in Shun Pao because of a lack of news manuscripts at its early stage. The main reason is the backwardness of traffic conditions. At the same time, Zhuzhi poem has the characteristics of news and popularity, which has met the requirements of Modern press. Thousands of Zhuzhi poems of Shanghai concession in Shun Pao constructed a new landscape of civil society in Shanghai during the period from 1872 to 1890. At the same time, the emergence of western architectures, the prosperity of entertainment and other changes in modern lifestyle have all embodied in Zhuzhi poems a kind of awakening consciousness of modern cities.

  The development of metaphoric competence is an important part in the development of child language and cognition capabilities. However, there are few studies on non-literal language of preschool children in natural discourse. Drawing on natural observations and journal diary, this study collects metaphors produced by a Chinese child called Ray within 21 months as data. Based on the syntactic and semantic features of child metaphor, this paper puts forward ten types and three functions of child metaphor in natural discourse. Furthermore, the study verifies the critical period in the development of metaphor production of Chinese preschool children.

  Since from the reform and opening up, the competition and cooperation of the media industry in the Pan-Pearl River Delta has been continuously encrypted, and a remarkable spatial pattern has been formed around the traditional media industry. At the stage of media convergence, the boundary of industry and geography has been broken, and the channel and content of communication have been expanded. All of these will play a role in the formation of future media industrial structure. The strategy of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area will bring new opportunities to the transformation of media industrial structure. The synergetic development of media industry and the cultural creative industry in this region requires cultural synergy as the precondition and the synergetic development can be achieved through market and policy approaches.
