Abstract

The dynamic response of Carbon/Aramid fiber reinforced concrete is studied. Using the geometrical characteristic and force analysis in curved fiber in the concrete, the dynamic properties are derived for cantilever beam specimens made by flexible fiber reinforced concrete. Large deformation can be borne at the flexible fiber reinforced concrete. Energy loss of the concrete is increased and dynamic behavior is improved. Fiber hybridizing and curve angle of the flexible fiber reinforced concrete is very important for dynamic energy loss.
