《北鸢》自2016年出版,就不同的面向为评论界所研讨,如其叙事对中国古典文学传统的承继、文本语言与结构形式的构思,乃至具体意象的运用等。小说所融涉的历史想象,也为学界关注。在文本中,饮食作为其中的线索之一,其以见微知著的方式,实现了对时代场景的勾勒、人性的刻画,以及对传统文化的反思。或言之,以此为切入点,可探视历史的嬗变、发展与起伏的路径。并致谢徐诗颖博士以“历史书写”为主题的访谈(“附录”在后),以对话的方式再次呈现了《北鸢》的历时深度。

Since its publication in 2016, Paper Hawk has been studied in different aspects by critics such as the inheritance of Chinese classical literature tradition, the conception of language and structure form, and even the use of images in the novel. The historical imagination involved has also attracted high academic attention. As one of the clues in the novel, the Chinese diet helped with a keen insight in the outlining of the times, the characterization of human nature and the reflection on traditional culture. Taking it as a starting point, one can explore the path of the evolution and development of human history.
